Music Director
Maestro Jaap van Zweden has served as music director of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra since the 2008-2009 season. His leadership of the orchestra in performances of works by Mahler, Bruckner, Tchaikovsky and countless others has received rave reviews nationally, and he has been invited to guest conduct some of the top orchestras in the world. His other titled positions include music director of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Kamer Filharmonie (2005-2013). Meet the Symphony's new music director here.
