Join the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for two ground-breaking nights as it presents the world premiere of Planet Earth Live. The BBC's highly acclaimed series on the natural history of the world is brought to life on the big screen, conducted by Emmy-winning composer George Fenton. The exhilarating High Definition footage of ocean depths, exotic deserts, rare creatures and the beauty of the earth is enhanced by the acoustical perfection of the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Planet Earth Live incorporates cinematography from the acclaimed series, including High Definition footage of the Great Plains, Antarctica, forests around the world, depths of the world's oceans and caves, jungles and more, matched note-for-note with the compositions of conductor George Fenton.

Fenton's impressive career also includes writing the scores for numerous films, including Dangerous Liaisons, Ghandi, The Fisher King, You've Got Mail, Stage Beauty and more. Following his appearance with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for Planet Earth Live in June of 2010, Fenton will debut the DSO's newly announced Masters of Film Music Series in February of 2011 as part of the 2010-2011 DSO Pops subscription season.
