Open Rehearsals Live performances are the result of hours and hours of rehearsal and preparation. To get a better understanding of the work involved in creating a symphonic concert, we've arranged for special "open rehearsals," where students (grades 7-12) can have a behind-the-scenes experience with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Students are greeted upon their arrival by the DSO's Education Director, Jamie Allen, and given an "open rehearsal orientation," where students learn fascinating features of the building, the artists, and the music, as well as a primer on Open Rehearsal etiquette.
