Tchaikovsky 5

"It will never please the public," said Tchaikovsky of his Fifth Symphony. Yet its beautiful melodies have captivated for over a century. The new season begins as Jaap van Zweden leads the Dallas Symphony in Tchaikovsky's passionate Fifth Symphony. Plus, Berlioz' tender "Summer Nights", songs of love and lost virtues.
